Last year my husband and I planted some lupine seeds after a trip to Tahoe where we saw them blooming all over the place. We were so excited when our lupine started blooming this year. They are a beautiful flower!

My husband, Jason, suggested I take photos of them and not too long ago my friend Aaron suggested I should start a photo of the day project...and so the daily photo of the lupine flowers was born!

A few days of rain threatened week one of the project, but I braved the gloomy weather and ended up getting some really cool rain drop shots.

Of course my trust assistant Kiwi (my Saint Bernard Dog!) was on hand to help with the photoshoot.....or maybe just nap!

Week 2 of the Lupine Project in underway and will be posted on Friday. I will keep this project going until the flowers are done blooming. I am going to start doing more fun photo projects so stay tuned to the blog and my Facebook page for updates!
